Cover art and inner pages of my first book of poetry, published in 1999. It is a collection of poems written during the most intense period of my passion and love for poetry. I was an utter "infatuate" - everything inspired me, and I could easily produce three or more poems per day. I have deep affection for this little book of mine. Le Petit Prince is a claustrophobic story to me. I could not imagine living on such a tiny planet but then I grew up in Alberta Prairies with wind and an open sky.
Wish I could read Chinese. I didn't know you were a poet, you really are a person of many talents!
Nah... Just have too diverse a span of interests. I do enjoy writing a lot though, and a blog is quite perfect for endless babbling of certain self indulgence LOL~ Thank you for your kind comment - feeling really flattered again. :-)
P.s. I do have a second book in English and Chinese(half & half) but I'm not nearly as happy about it as I'm with my first. The 2nd is a mixture of prose, poetry, some essays and loads of visuals, and it was about my obsession with Indian culture and art at that time (around 1st year univ). Seems like I have quite an obsessive personality... :p x
Well you're a bit like me then.....my interests are too diverse and I'm quite obsessive too lol
Great minds. That's why we get along so well. ♥ :-)
